Program Goal: To provide a fun, safe environment for youth to learn target sports.

Age: Open to kids between the ages of 12-17. If you're younger or older please reach out to us and let us know.

Instructor: Allan Harding, a long-time Club member, 2017, 2018, & 2019 Canadian National 10m pistol champion and 2016 & 2019 Canadian National 50m pistol champion.

Objectives:

• Safely shoot .22 calibre rifles in bench, prone, kneeling, and standing positions.
• Use trigger control, stance, breath control, and follow through.
• Shoot pistols and learn about Olympic shooting disciplines.
• Learn about official International Shooting Sport Federation rules, types of competitions and how to start competing.

When: Wednesdays - 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Where: Sunshine Coast Rod and Gun Club, in Wilson Creek up Field Rd at 4384 Parkway Drive, Sechelt

Can you help out? Can you help with setup, cleanup, or being a range official? It's easy and we're always looking for volunteers. 

Cost: All junior shooters will need to enroll as junior members with the SCRGC.
